Just a Barely Awake Update...
Well, the WoW servers are down for the morning, so why not put my free computer time to good use and write an LJ entry? I know, use to be that guy who poked fun at the WoW kids, persuading myself, "Paying money to play a game? Hell nah, I'll never be like that." I love it when I contradict myself... I am keeping a well balance between my social life and my homework though, and I usually only play WoW to pass any free time that's left. The main reason I play, though, is because like, half the Pikes up here play, so I usualyl find my room covered with laptops and chair, questing and instancing and whatnot. It is also a social device. Lol. Plus I'm a Level 64 Tauren Druid and I just mastered my herbology.
I love being a Geek. It's what I do best.
In other words, everything is going... Not great, not bad. I just finished a seven page defense of Mark Twain which took me a good twelve hours. Hopefully Todorova won't throw it out the window. I am finding it relatively hard to find a job, and I've been rejected several times already. I wish we weren't in this stupid recession.
But in other news, I've pretty much paid off my European trip! Now I just need to save up for spending money once I get there... It's going to be a lot of fun. I have other things I need to pay off, too - like car insurance, dues, Dream Girl... And I found out that Fleetwood Mac is coming to Colombus in April! So I'm going to do my best to check that out.
Alrighty, well I'm tired. Didn't get much sleep. Hope you all are doing well. BTW, whats your favorite three songs from the eighties? I want to play music from that decade for my next radio show.
Oh, and I neglected to mention HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER GABRIEL last Friday, so there you go. Shock the Monkey.
