Learn how to drive. It's not that hard. They've got this
neat system where you obey traffic laws and it helps
prevent injuries, vehicle damages, and makes your
day tons better. I got hit biking to work yesterday because somebody
turning from New Circle Road onto Harrodsburg didn't care to wait
for the woman who was stopped and letting me go by, deciding to drive
around her partly off the side of the road. Of course this driver stopped
when all of a sudden he or she saw me biking past, but not before
their bumper rammed into my bike and my leg, swirling me around
and making me give them a "WTF?!" hand gesture. I'm fine, it just pissed
me off and irritated my sore leg. BUT THIS IS WHY WE HAVE TRAFFIC LAWS.
In other news, I'm driving to Wisconsin for the first time on Friday, just Will and I.
I've got a huge playlist set up, and I'm kind of excited to finally do this. It's been
a long time coming. I just hope it turns out okay. I'll do my part by obeying the
rules of the road, but it's also key to be a defensive driver. Wish me luck!
