Yup. It's summer in Texas. 80 degrees is the low, and we've got lightning storms where the sky spends more time being lit up than being clear. No crazy wind or rain this time, so I'm just enjoying the show :D

I saw clouds form today. Right before my eyes. Josh and I were heading back to his house from eating a late lunch and were stopped at a stop light. Right in front of us in the sky we saw a tiny puff of cloud probably smaller than a car, grow into the size of a house and then join the other clouds to form a giant stadium sized cloud, all while ( Read more... )

Of course I had to jinx myself with the last entry. We had a line of severe thunderstorms (with some tornado watches even I think) run right across Texas in the early morning hours. I woke up to the storm at 3:45 am to realize that we couldn't see the houses across the street and that lightning was flashing around 3 times a second. Also saw some ( Read more... )

Two inches of snow in March after above 60 days, followed by a 70 degree day, then another day of at least another two inches of snow. Lawl.

And Texas drivers are all out there like "OMGawd white stuff on the roads!! Creep slowly in tight knit groups down the streets and maybe it won't kill you as fast!"
