money, to get around
I got so many freakin' gift cards this year.
I was going to buy Avatar Book 1 with my amazon one, and it was on a really nice sale as of Friday, but I didn't quite have time/energy to order it (also was trying to figure out what to get with the rest of the gift card) come back and check on it today, and it's no longer on sale. BOO! So I check some other sites because Best Buy had it on sale as well...no more. Finally find it on sale at Target, and although I don't have a gift card there, it's half the price of every where else so I am not gunna pass that up y'know?
But anyway, that leaves me with several gift cards that I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to buy with...I mean, I can always find things because I'm greedy little monster, but I'm also cheap and seem to be able to find things for like 10 dollars cheaper on sites other than I have the gift cards for. And even with out that, I have so many freakin' DVDs and books and cds right now, that I haven't gotten to, that it's just like...jeez, do I really wanna buy that? I mean I want it eventually, but right now...I have so many other things... ((did I mention I got 30 CDs for 8 bucks the other day? do I know how to shop or what?!))
I was really excited at first because all of the gift cards are for places I shop at waay too frequently, but now I'm sorta wishing it had just been money, cuz I could put in the bank and use it for my car and other necessities. (gets slapped by people with no money for whining about having so much right now)
And I'll go ahead and say it now, 2008 is going to be an interesting year for me...lots of crazy things...
