Weekends... they are why we live......not...
Ugh....
So I am fortunate that in my job I get all weekends off and as I have been so busy of late I was really looking forward to this particualr one, as apart from my daughters swimming lesson, I had absolutely nothing else planned.
This meant I could work on that cool spring shirt that I am trying to sew, do my taxes for 2007, catch up on letters and emails, especially from my UK friends who I have neglected so badly just of late... and may be even give my kitchen a good clean.
What happens, both my darling husband and daughter get sick with a flu type bug...they are all aching, coughie and WHINEY.... Meaning, all I have done this weekend is play nursemaid!
I loves them both to bits, but right now I have one laying on the couch upstairs & one laying on the couch downstairs and have basically spent my weekend between the two....now I am tired!
So, waves goodbye to the productive weekend it could have been....
*sigh*
