Is that emo, or what?
A constant search for truth, enlightenment, knowledge and understanding is the only way that I can reconcile my existence on this earth. It is my opinion that in order to achieve a day in which swords shall be beaten into plowshares and nations shall not know war anymore is to advance. A definition for advance is now required. Advance- To pursue knowledge, truth, enlightenment and understanding and through so doing, recognize the boundless benefits of working towards the betterment and well being of society and the world around you.In the past 17 years, I have seen, heard, read and felt many things that have made me ashamed of existing. Then, I came to the conclusion that the wonderful, happy moments in life far outweigh the atrocities and crimes against humanity that have occured. I was wrong. There is nothing that can ever repay what has been taken. I cannot see any hope for a peaceful future.
Wow, the above hopelessness was from the last time that I logged onto lj. I can't say that I disagree with it now, but I certainly wouldn't say that I do agree with it.
So, it has been far too long since my last update. Today I got up at the crack of ass and went to my doctor's office in order to get the Kutz health form filled out(Kutz is a jewish leadership camp that I will be attending this summer). Unfortunately I need an appointment so I have one for next wednesday.
After that I came home and washed the dishes and tidied up a bit. Then I winter to Cartridge World(sounds like a gun shop) and got some printer cartridges. Then I went to David(Wilensky)'s house and headed to lunch. After lunch I took him to Spider House, but then promptly had to leave in order to be home by 3:30. This evening at 6:45 there is a LAN party at David(Broockman)'s house. I plan to attend. That's pretty much it.
(Oh, Jacob, I started playing Alien Hominid and I've actually got a bit better. eventually I'll beat it.)
