Leirian was quite tired of not being able to move. He had regained some motor actions, but his perceptions of his own body remained as though through a fog that was slow to lift, and his responsiveness remained just as muffled and off, though the intense colors of magic were slowly fading as his normal sight asserted itself.
His awareness of other people's thoughts and emotions shrank as his presence pooled in his body. The foggy feeling slowly lifting to a pins and needles sensation.
Then Robin passed through and up the stairs after Ana. And with a deliberate effort, Leirian pushed himself slowly up on his elbows.
