Leirian had been rather expecting Niji to make a bid to gain control over his guest. Not out of any maliciousness that he could sense, simply her own need to have things under her controle where she knew what was happening. But all the same, that was not a game he intended to play. His hand tightened imperceptibly around Ana's as he responded to Niji's thoughts and Ares' presence at the same time. "I appreciate your concern for my guest, but I will see to her needs since she is here by my invitation alone. You are in good hands with Miss Phantasy, I am glad to see." he allowed, while his voice said "Good morning, Lady Deville. It seems you have already had a productive start to the day. These are beautiful."

Granting the women gathered the closest thing to a smile his face ever attained in public, he agreed, "Bathing seems the first order. I would not have us sully our eating-place. I should be able to find clothing suitable for Lady Rydel while bathwater is heating, there is no need to delay your laudrey, since there is so much you have to do. I will deal with the cat before cleansing myself." He headed off toward the bathhouse, Ana still in tow. "We will talk more of what business remains to be done over food. I have been away much longer than intended."
