Warmth and weight. Adobe felt both on her softly rising and falling chest, and while it nearly gave her a start to wake up with such a sensation, a sense of calm and comfort came over her not seconds later, resulting, instead, in a soft sleepy mumble and her arm shifting around what - or rather who - was laying on her ( ... )

Sierra stirred when Connie's soft voice and touch intruded upon her sleep. She'd been dreaming of being back at work on the mako cannon in Junon, a small alarm chiming as the mako valves were pressure tested. Connie's voice and touch did not belong in Junon though. And she mumbled a soft "Mmmfuza nnt," her eyes squeezing tighter shut as she snuggled closer into her bedding. She had not had enough sleep yet to make up for the four hours she had gotten the night before. And the Mako alarm was still going off. She had to go back and fix it before the building pressure resulted in a rupture ( ... )

Odessa sat up, bleary eyed, hat laying off to one side. She yawned quietly and turned her attention to Sierra, blinking placidly at first and then starting.

"....THE CLAYMORES! Is there any way you can tell Hover to warn whoever it is to be careful?! For God's sake, keep them away from the base! I've....God, this is my responsibility. My territory!"

Odessa, who had been dreaming pleasantly of Adobe, Booker, Sierra and their home, had entered a full alert state in about a nano second.

She was scrambling for her hat, her gun and her pack, staggering around the room and seeming rather confused. Sudden wake up calls and potential disaster will do that.

"Just tell them to wait, if y'can! Do something, I'm going to make a run for the base. I know the paths and layouts better than any of you, so I'll run ahead!"

And with that, the woman was off, sprinting out of the room and into the hall, hitting the stairs at a dead run and whipping down them with the intensity of a woman on a mission.

Booker watched Odessa sprint off from his seat on his own mattress, shoved further away from the huddles of women. Raising an eyebrow, he stood and stretched, packing up slightly more leisurely. "I guess it's time to head back. Little Hover is too cute to leave on his own for long. Sierra, do you think you could do that spell to speed us up again? Odessa is rushing off alone and as much as I know she can care for herself, I'd love to be there to back her up in case of trouble."

His own meager supplies gathered, Booker neatened up the area so that it could be used again by themselves or the inhabitants of the hospital itself. He started humming as he finished and stuck his hands in his pockets, checking to see if the others were ready.

"Oi, reign it in there, Miss Adobe," Connie chastised, though the smile she bore was more one of annoyance than real ire. "Chucking things at a pretty lady is hardly the way to start the day, and one I hafta put in my two cents on. That's a no-no." She waggled her finger for emphasis, eyebrows drawn together in disapproval. Rising, her arms raised above her head in a luxurious stretch and accented with a high pitched rumble from her throat. She caught through her wincing eyes the pretty golden shape of Miss Odessa fleeing the room, arms dropping as she turned to Booker an inquire as to the instance.

"Huh. Don't reckon the base is on fire, right? Oh, wait... what did the blinky journal say? Is there someone there makin' a mess of things? Time to run, then." Bending at the middle, she offered Miss Sierra a hand, attempting to draw a sense of urgency from both her lady and herself as well. She'd been far too relaxed with the warm, pretty body by her side.

"We ride to the rescue again, eh Madame?"
