i'm sorry to hear that. it's always sad to loose a pet like that. i just lost one too. my mom called me a few weeks back and told me she put my dog to sleep. she was fine, and then within two days she got really sick. so i didn't even know she wasn't well.
I have in my archives some statement regarding the incident of my mother putting my cat to sleep a while ago... it's horribly dramatic and somewhat vague...
I have since given my mother a kitten, which unfortunately I bonded with first. I miss that little scamp, and could have used the company not that long ago...
I don't know what to say except it's horrible to lose a pet, because in many ways they are like your children. You raise them, they develop their distinct personality, and they grow up rapidly in front of your eyes. You may be away from them for a while, but the bond always remains, and there's very little to be done about it when they die except remember them fondly, and in your case bury them.
All things move according to the great magnet. It is foolish to believe anything else.
