My Favourite Songs...
I've been tagged by lianda! But I don't think I can find 6 people to pass this on to...
You have to post your six current favourite songs, something about each song, then pass it on to six other people. No particular order.
1) Gavin DeGraw - Follow Through
This is the best Gavin DeGraw song, but his whole CD's good, especially the "stripped" version. I really want to see him live!
2) Jamie Cullum - I Get a Kick Out of You
I think you have to see this guy in concert to understand how awesome he really is. His voice isn't particularly great, but he really knows how to literally jump around on his piano. And when he goes "tere-re-re-re-rifically too"... awesome
3) Michael Bublé - Moondance
I don't think I really have a favourite MB song but this one's good! They're all good! It's thanks to this song that I actually noticed Michael Bublé- it was playing on my neighbour's stereo while I was babysitting a couple years ago. Just saw him last week and and he's amazing live, and really nice in person. I'll post some pics from the show here as soon as I figure out how...
4) Keane - Snowed Under
I can't believe this song didn't make it onto their album- I didn't hear it til I went to see them live. It has such a catchy chorus. Go listen to them live at Keane in Amsterdam Nov. 2004
5) Keane - Can't Stop Now
Because I only really like 4 artists/groups at the moment... (guess which ones!) Keane's my favourite right now, since I saw them live 2 weeks ago. 6) Bettie Serveert - You've Changed
OK, just to change things up a little, here's a song I heard on One Tree Hill (which is, by the way, where I hear most of the new music I listen to :p I owe Smallville thanks for introducing me to Keane). I think Bettie Serveert is a pretty great name, and this song is kind of sad but pretty to listen to. It makes good background music... I think I left it on repeat once and it kept going and going and going ...
