There are definitely issues that require attention in this city, in this country, and in this world. There is definitely room for democratic protest. Such protests occur in Toronto very frequently, and aside from perhaps causing a bit of traffic, these protests are peaceful and send a clear message. There is no room for criminal activity in our city. The people who think that smashing windows, setting police cars on fire, putting graffiti on our walls, etc., are the people who merely want attention, and are looking for an opportunity to be violent. They don't care about anyone in this world but themselves. Sadly the meaningful protests are overshadowed by the acts of this minority, who is determined to destroy as much as they can in our beautiful city. Shame on them all.
