[Jinx is actually off to the bar, like that should be a surprise. Though today, he actually decided to take a little detour, squeeze in a bit of exercise perhaps.

He's actually completely healed, safe for a nice chunk torn out of his ear.

Jinx really wasn't expecting to happen upon Maia on his little field trip, and he really wasn't expecting her to look so fumed. He picks up his pace and walks at a nice safe distance from her side. Not that he's actually scared or anything, but his eyes do show that he's holding back just a bit.]

[Jinx is really quite lucky that he decided to give Maia all that information on Jak and Daxter's whereabouts way back when - it was a good reason for her to take him off her hit-list. For the time being, anyway.

He still reeks, just not of alcohol, this time. Of course, Maia's fairly sure that this won't last.

...nn. She doesn't normally like to drink, but when one has a hangover, it's a lot easier to focus on that instead of bad memories.]

If you're going to a bar, then I'm going with you. I could use a drinking partner, anyway.

[Mia never came off as the type to drink in Jinx's eyes.

But a drinking buddy's a drinking buddy--Maia will have to do for now. Jinx doesn't even mind her two toned face, creepy helmet, and just generally pissed off look.]

[He makes his way to the elevator, then hits a button.]

[Maia just follows Jinx to the elevator, although she fixes him with another glare shortly after he asks that question.]

It is a personal matter. [And that's all you'll be getting out of her in that regard, Jinx.]

[Jinx is actually completely okay with not knowing anything more.]

[Small talk is always good. He even as a joke lined up for her: why so blue? Though now still doesn't seem like a good time.

Jinx steps into the elevator.]

You guess correctly. [Maia just folds her arms and waits. Any further conversation can wait until she has some alcohol in her system.]

[Jinx takes that as a cue to shut his mouth, though he does look to her every few minutes. Just to keep himself occupied.

With a sharp ding, the elevator doors slide open. Jinx doesn't waste his time exiting it.]

[And Maia follows after him until they reach Sergei's - shortly after entering, she's quick to sit down in a nearby booth. She sighs before glancing back at Jinx.] I don't care what you get, so long as it's strong.

[Jinx skips the booth and heads to the bar for a few bottles. He returns with Jack Daniels, Stroh, and something blue.

He puts them down before sitting across from Maia.]

Here. Any a these tickle yer fancy?

It doesn't matter. [So long as they can get her good and drunk. Maia reaches for the bottle closest to her - Jack Daniel's - and takes little time at all to unscrew the top and take a swig. She winces; that stuff is strong.]

[Jinx grins proudly at Maia before opening the Stroh and pouring it into the frosty glasses he'd collected.]

Too strong? Should I just get ya' some water?

[Now is he mocking Maia, or trying to help her out?]

Amusing. [She fixes Jinx with harsh glare before taking another drink. Considering that she doesn't do it very often, drinking like this probably isn't a very bright idea, but she really doesn't care at this point.]

[Yeah, Maia's definitely a lightweight, and she's really starting to feel those gulps of whiskey.] Mmn. Not just yet, although I did manage to find something else that could be just as interesting. [Like Anna volunteering to be Maia's lab rat, or finding that Jak was chock full of a substance that she can control.]
