I come from a largely Christian family full of preachers and missionaries. One of my cousins is in India for missionary work trying to get Hindu's to believe that their gods are merely a figment of their imagination and that the only true god is Jesus. I wanted to thank all of you who sent any prayers and good energy to my family in Houston. I am very happy and relieved to report that they made it through Ike all right, with no damage except a downed fence. I've found that, although I believe in the God (I think of him as the Green Man), I have a really hard time connecting with him. It's not that I don't think he's equal to the Goddess, or that I dishonor/disrespect him in any way, it's more... I just feel that I'm a child of the Goddess, and far more dedicated to her.  Tonight I will be performing a Full Moon ritual to celebrate the Strength of the unity between the God and Goddess. For purposes of explanation I worship the God and Goddess each in a triple aspect. Tonight I will worship them in the forms of Lugh and Danu. I was wondering if anyone knew of something interesting I could do for the occasion.
