After a little over 28 months, I got the call.
It was a local doctor's receptionist who said she got my name from the phone-in list of people looking for a family doctor. Well I said sure and she set me up with an appointment at the end of the month.
So I guess my chances of living slightly longer just went up, maybe.

This place is sucking the life out of me.
If anyone knows of decent local job opportunities out there let me know.
I have 10 years experience in the graphics field now though I'm flexible and wouldn't mind leaving my vocation for better pay.

Shuffling paper, etc. I can do that.

I would particularly like a government job or a UNB/STU job.

At work we’re having a meeting at 3. I plan to be aggressive in dogging for more pay. I’ve been waiting for when the time is right and the time is now. Income tax hasn’t come in yet unfortunately. Nope not the game, me.
Hit the black ice as I hit the sidewalk after jogging across the intersection. Landed on my back. Bruised my elbows and cut my hand a bit but otherwise I'm fine. Took it a lot better than I could have. I have no muscle pains yet but I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow.
Watch out for the black ice.

The weekend was ok but my refrigerator stopped working yesterday. Hopefully the land lord can get it fixed today or I stand to lose all my frozen food which is roughly 70% of my groceries. That’s bad.
