Yet another update is due for you people. I think I'm going to step aside from the wonderful world of philosophy for a second here, and talk about something that I've waited for over a decade to happen...I finally got into a game of Dungeons and Dragons (dnd). Yup, that's right, I play dnd, and I've always loved playing it. Maybe it's that I take on the role of another person, or play as a person that I wished I was that makes the game so enjoyable to me. Although, I think the weird thing about my current character is that he is a Paladin. For those of you who don't know who or what a Paladin is, a Paladin is a knight who upholds laws and virtues with the power of God's blessing. Now, for some reason, I always play a Paladin in any type of game that I can play as one. I don't know why, cosidering that I am a god damn atheist and all. Anyway, I found that to be kind of funny (this is coming from the guy who gets a kick out of the fact that he might be a Page (title of job) in the library; get it? A Page in the library? Eh...) But yeah, dnd is cool, and I don't think there is anything wrong with admitting that I play a game that is usually associated with geeks and nerds. Gotta be honest with yourself before you can be honest with others, right?
