spring animu!
Ooookay, so Chartfag put out the spring 2010 edition. And finally it looks like I'll watch me some anime again! Because right now I'm only watching Durarara (yes, I know, it's overhyped but such a highlight among the moe-softporn that prevails) and Kobato (everyone should watch Kobato.)
... there will be the usual haremmoesoftcorepornshit and some great stuff that I must not miss!
1. Senko no Night Raid - could be great, could be shitty. It's probably boring but I might still give it a shot
2. Iron Man - if it comes close to the movie it could be great. But American superhero shows tend to be boooring
3. Yojo-han Shinwa Teiki - sounds boring (yes, I know, I have no sense for that kind of artsy stuff)
4. Arakawa under the Bridge - might be fun
5. Rainbow - could be good but the designs look shitty
6. House of Five Leaves - now this could be fun indeed!
7. Heroman - could be great, will probably suck
8. Ookiku Furikabutte season 2 - I will never understand the fascination of baseball (see Major)
9. Angel Beats - potentially interesting story that reminds me of Soul Rescue. If they had only animated Soul Rescue instead :(
10. Ichiban Ushuro no Dai Maou - no, not really
11. Working! Ugh
12. Giant Killing - I know I'm being a snob here but Japan and football is like... I dunno, USA and soccer?
13. Hetalia Axis Powers season 3 - Yes please! omg Canada, why so cute? ;_;
14. Ring ni Kakero 1 Shadow - how about... no?
15. Major (see Ookiku Furikabutte)
16. B Gata H Kei - lol, no
17. Kaichou wa Maid-sama - could be great, could be desastrous but right now I'm so starved for shoujo, I'll watch it anyway. And besides, I like the manga more than Special A, which sounds very, very similar. Although Misaki is almost as dense as Hikari.
18. Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan - yes yes yes!!! ^o^ They even managed to get Nakajima Atsuko for the adaption of Kazuki Yone's original designs so it looks like their budget will be considerably better than for most shoujo titles. Gaaah, can't wait!
19. Uragiri wa boku no namae wo shitteiru - well, I like the manga. If they keep the BL on the backburner in the anime, it could be good. I'll probably at least check it out.
20. D. C. Da Capo Ext through 29. Hime Chen - aaargh *dead from moe and/or shounen-stupidity*
I'll also probably watch the Black Rock Shooter OAV and check out Ai no Kusabi and Sex Pistols for the lulz (yes, I know what Sex Pistols is about) and I suppose Aarinfantasy are already assembling timers and translators. But wasn't the Ai no Kusabi OAV supposed to be out already anyway? And of course there'll be Gundam Unicorn and even if the designs are cringeworthy, I'm starved for mecha, too. No mecha, no life ;_;
Also, I want one of these (awww, so cute!) But they are freakin expensive, given how tiny these things are so I'm afraid I'll have to pass (I can get two of the Hiiro no Kakera figures for one Hetalia)...
My Mom is still with my grandparents, so it's just Dad and me and that means that no one is adverse to having pizza twice a week! And since I used the last mozzarella on Saturday, I'll get a new one for our new pizza (this time with salmon, for a change *lol*). And tonight - figure skating!!! Just the re-runs but better than getting up at 5 a.m.
