Today I learnt that as someone who already has a degree in Spanish as the primary language, I don't have to take Spanish anymore! AT ALL! HOW COOL IS THAT?! ^o^ Of course I won't forget everything (my family and certain people on my f-list will make sure of that *cough*) but it greatly improves my chances of making it through the translator/interpreter courses.
Also, score school vs. Neko after 1 week=1:1
School 1: (Underwood at the end of the lesson: "I'm shocked! For once you're not the first one out of the door!" Actually, there was a chair in my way -_-;;)
Me 1: (Dove in translation: "Your vocabluary is impressive." Because I knew how to translate 'gefühlte Inflation' into proper English)
It also looks like having school work to do makes me creative.
Of all the anime series starting this autumn, I think I'm looking forward to D.gray-man (stupid Shounen Jump names wtf?) the most. It's always been one of my favourite shounen titles and I'm happy that they animate it. I doubt that it will be such a hit as Bleach or Naruto because the male main charas are far too pretty but I hope it's fairly successful. Um... yes, I skinned Rabi because I'm still looking for a decent image of Allen to skin. Or Tiki because Tiki is Teh Cool. Rinali will do too. Don't even ask me about Kanda because I don't like him, Sakurai or not.
The name is from a song. Read the readme *shrugs*. That reminds me that I want to make a mp3-update but can't think of a theme. I thought maybe the music I heard in Malta because it was rather cool but it wasn't really Malta-specific. But then, over the summer I got a lot of amusing covers from various songs that I'd like to share. I shall think of something.
And just a few minutes ago I gave in and ordered via amazon.de the third season of Bugs. OK, I think no one knows what I'm talking about.
Bugs is IMO the greatest British SF series of the 90s. It's also very amusing. And I sou love the couple of Beckett and Ros because they are in that sort of relationship of just-colleagues-or-a-little-more? (think early Mulder/Scully) that I absolutely adore ♥. Maybe I'll also order season four next month (because it's for some reason a lot more expensive) because unlike most people I actually liked season four. And sooner or later I'll try to find a way to get DVDs of Adrenaline Junkies, IMO one of the best hospital series in the world. Maybe not quite as good as ER and House but certainly better than Grey's Anatomy or Chicago Hope. The problem: It's Australian and therefore very hard to come by in Germany.
Life? What is this 'Life' you speak of? -_-;;
