We never let the bastards get us down
I love the fact that i can just take my computer outside with me. My little Indian friends just pulled into the parking lot. I just ate some decent lasagna from the cafeteria with some cherry cola, and i'm now waiting on my mom and die to arrive so we can go eat at Harmony. Today is going to be a good day, aside from when i get home and have to do my entire sketch book for 2-d in one night. laaaaaaaame.
My birthday went swimmingly. It lasted most of the weekend pretty much. On friday some of my friends from here (Haley, Nindhini, Vickie, and Mary) all went to Macon for First Friday. I got to meet some of Haley's friends and i also got to see an amazing transvestite show that was going on in front of a bar. It's really strange that it's such a normal form of entertainment there. There were older people and people there with their children and everything. Very odd. Very Very funny though. Sunday i got up and went home Where die had made me an amazing black walnut cake and had decorated three different cakes. She's such an amazing girl. I went to my grandmother's as well where i got to see my half sister and a lot of my family on that side. My dad even made it. My grandma was the only one to give me a present. I mean, i'm not complaining really. Not is a selfish way. I wouldn't have cared if no one had gotten me anything, but that fact that my own dad didn't even give me a card was pretty shitty i think. Anyway, after i left there i went to pat and johns where the partying continued. When i returned to the dorm that night the rest of my friends from here took me out to eat at R. Thomas where i had the amazing french toast and they gave me a free piece of vegan chocolate cake. I felt pretty damn special that whole week.
things have been going good here despite the live from day to day attitude i've taken on my work and the fact that i've been pretty sick for the last week. Soar throat, hard time talking, coughing, that whole kind of thing. A lot of kids have had it a lot worse though so i can't complain too much. Last night i went out to eat at IHOP and had some amazing pumpkin pancakes, so if anyone is in an area where they can get a hold of some of those i would suggest it. It's a limited time thing and if you like pumpkin stuff, those are truly a treat. Haha. I'm so lame.
