Everything is illuminated.
I'm sitting on the walkway in front of my door. I've got a beautiful view of the back parking lot and the kids prying in through the back gate as they get back from classes. The sun's hanging low and shining, like it always does, through the thin row of trees. It's paints the space between and the buildings such a beautiful gold that it makes me wish i could take picture for the next hour or so until it is completely gone.
Today has just been one of those days where everything around is just astonishing. There hasn't been one cloud in the sky to at all. It's amazing. The only white up there is where the blue fades into a paler one at the horizon. I walk outside this morning and got a breath of that nostalgic autumn air that is just being born. It was wonderful. I'm so glad that that still exist here amongst the exhaust fumes and stagnant puddles, but then, even those are beautiful and playful reflecting the sky's gaze right back up at it, even if a little bit tingey.
I went to class and drew my hand for two hours. Getting better and worse and then better again before quitting. I've got to have it perfected by monday. Tonight i need to write. And i need to draw some lines.
Mom came and visited me for a while. It's always so nice to see her. I miss her, but i think she misses me more. We ate at the Vortex for the first time. I had a black bean burger and some veggie chili. It was pretty good.
I think i'm going to Moe's in a little bit so i'm going to get off of here. Then i'm going to come back and work. Really, i am. Really. ha....
