Nation-wide Gay Rights protest
Has anybody else heard about this? (Joe? I'm thinking of you and your ladies, in particular.) Protests are being organized across the country in response to the latest round of anti-gay propositions that passed the vote in several states earlier this month--in particular, California's Prop 8.
This Saturday, November 15th, there will be rallies held out in front of City Halls nationwide, it seems. :) Even if any of you are too shy to participate, I encourage checking it out, if you happen to live near one of the many protests being staged.
I'm not sure about Xpyne, because she has class until 3:00 pm(?) that day, but I think I'll hop the Metro and toddle on down to City Hall to see what's doing--and it doesn't hurt that Little Tokyo is right there. Mmm, lunch. :d
