How dirty boys get clean

Prison Break: OH MY GOD PRISON BREAK I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

What an AWESOME example of spin and manipulating the media. If I ever teach a media studies class, remind me too use the scene of the Big Bad Multinational Guy telling his lackey to "start a forest fire -- ANYTHING!" to grab the headlines the next day over the Scofield/Burroughs exposé.

I was really sad and frustrated by the suicide of Steadman last episode, as his confession would have solved everything, but as I read somewhere, it really is indicative of the show's writers thinking "So, how can we stretch this story out to a few more seasons?" Easy, kill Steadman and get the brothers (and their new uneasy partner) to try to bring down the One World Conspiracy (as TWOP calls it). I wasn't sure how that would play out, but if this episode is any indication, WOW. I LOVE IT.

They FINALLY used the media. I'm a media cheerleader, but, dude, if you want people to understand where you're coming from, you kinda have to tell your side of the story. To the media. That scene, - the video tape itself and right before when the camera man was walking slowly and steadily through the newsroom, was AWESOME. Good job, Michael. I like that he outed Mahone too. The way his colleagues were looking at him, you just know someone is going to figure it out. And when that proves true, that will add more weight to the rest of what the tape says.

I keep thinking that Sucre's Mexican friend is an FBI agent. Car keys! Too! Accessible! I guess we'll find out if I'm right at the end of the episode. (Aaaand no. What a sweet scene. I tell ya, I almost cried. Teared up. I nearly moistened my eyes. It was touch and go for a moment there. Sucre was just as choked up as I was. His eyes were very bright. Go get your girl. man!)

That bastard is just too good. I can't believe Mahone figured out that the tape was about Sarah. Clever, though, on both him and Michael.

I really hope the ex-One World Conspiracy guy doesn't turn them in. President, Schmesident. Do you really want to be her bitch again? I like him working with the brothers, but maybe the writers don't.

24: Sooooooooooo all that screaming with the Brother Torture, and the wife in the next room heard nothing? Riiiiiight. What, do the rich have soundproof offices these days?

Poor Nadia. :( I'm becoming a fan of hers. Day of crisis or not, I do hope they address the fact that racial profiling = idiotic and horrible.

NONONO NONONOONOOOO! Karen, stand up to that stupid bully. We need you in Washington! :( I wish she'd told the president the real reason she was resigning. I do NOT have faith that he can stand up to Tom by himself. Grr.

I think I'm a Nadia/Chloe's ex shipper! That scene was so sweet. OTP!

I'm so glad Walid is alive. I was worried there for a minute. I'm glad the guys in the detention centre weren't actually terrorists.

I was spoiled for the Jack's dad thing by the Canadian preview. Stupid preview. But when Jack's brother "put his cards on the table" -- now that was awesome. Dad was shocked. Sucker! "Oh my god, you killed two federal agents!" Yes, dad, your favourite son is a total asshole/terrorist/murderer. You might want to give Jack some lovin'.
