Last week while housesitting, I had a million ideas for LJ posts (many involving pictures, like the rest of that picture meme, and I DO have all those pictures saved on my camera, I just have to upload them), but now that I'm back home, they all went poof! I've been wrapped up in an online roleplaying game through Neopets (NQII for the initiated), which I LOVE and play about once a year. It, uh, takes a few weeks. So I'm sitting here wondering what I can post about, because it's a busy week and without inspiration, I don't really want to post anything... But I keep playing new music over and over again. So! I will post that!
First, here's the song that Supernatural fans are going gaga over this week: Styx - Renegade. The ending of last week's episode is AWESOME and the song perfectly describes them right now (so, potential spoilers I suppose). It's just an awesome kick-ass song, too, even if you don't watch the show.
Also, I watched Walk the Line last week, the movie about Johnny Cash and June Carter, and WOW, it was absolutely amazing. I watched it again later that day just because, DUDE. I've always liked his music, but that movie makes me want to collect all of it and check out June Carter, too. And I NEED to own both that movie and the soundtrack. Anyway, these are my favourite songs that I've found online so far. I mostly like his earlier work, which is definitely a theme in my musical tastes.
