113 : When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout!
Today heralds the end of the world! Again! I have no doubt there is a reason it's taking place exactly one year after Salem died, lmao.
And now for RL things of note:
- Cut all my meds down to one each and now feel infinitely better mentally! No more rapidly extreme mood swings! Overall neutral/somewhat positive attitude towards everything! The down side is feeling kind of queasy and tired most of the time, but I'll take what I can get.
- Played a console game for the first time in a year. HOW I MISSED YOU, WARRIORS OROCHI.
- Dad dropped his DSiXL in the toilet. Oops. While it was large enough that only a corner got wet, still. I'm not touching it. 8|
- In the last place we ran out of fuel for heat; this time, we ran out of water in the cistern. Is there really such a thing as a "normal" life or is everyone lying to me? 8||
- Dad picked up Heinlein's The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, the dialogue in which I'm loving. Snark! Banter! Wit! Though I read on Wikipedia the book takes a philosophical turn. Hopefully not at the expense of the story.
- My room is starting to resemble a bedroom, hurrah! Having some of my Stuff (capital S) out makes me excited about everything all over again: dolls, Abyss, art. I have BIG PLANS that include putting together a Lina Inverse figure and more dauntingly, an Unoa boy to be named Asch. What, no, I'm not obsessed.
Internet-y things of note:
- Both friends lists on DW and LJ have been slow/boring/your adjective of choice, hence my general disinclination to update. That and most of what I have to say is Twitter-type one-liners, and like hell I'm bothering with yet another site. I check here now and then, but it's gotten to the point my roleplay accounts are more in use.
- To date I've managed to write three simple notes to a couple of my favorite Abyss artists. Nothing elaborate, but the fact I was able to convey messages clear enough to earn a response is exciting. :D
- Technically, I wrote a haiku! I think. ...for Fonon's profile. It amuses me if nothing else. And if you're reading this, Josie, they now match. |'D
