This past weekend can be described in two simple, but eloquent words: it sucked.
The weekend started off decent enough (doesn't it always?) with me and dad going horseback riding on Saturday. When we got home later that night, the neighbors were having a bit of a party, being loud and what not, the usual. I guess what happened was that somebody complained about the noise or something, and since we've asked them to lower their music a few times before, they probably thought it was us. When dad got up in the morning and put the trash out, he noticed our car was hit and diagonal in our parking spaces! >_< Somebody had actually shoved our vehicle from where it was originally parked. All in all it wasn't a huge deal, but he still had to file a report about it in case the started acting up.
Then Sunday. Ooooooh boy. Went to the mall to do Christmas shopping. Went from one store to the next, dad went for his wallet to pay for something, and it wasn't there. Not. Good. He back tracked to GameStop, I checked Ritz camera. Nothing. Dad ended up having to get a new driver's license, which required him to have his DOT (Department of Transportation) card, which was also stolen. And to get his DOT card required him to have to drive, with no license. :/ Not to mention the people at the MVA/DMV were complete assholes: "This isn't a birth certificate, it's a high school diploma." "Look lady, does a high school diploma have baby footprints on the back?" "Well, we can't accept this." KILL!!! D:<
Needless to say it was very stressful and only reinforces my already low opinion of this dump. Which we're stuck at till April. D: *sigh*
