General question, for curiosity's sake; does anyone here have a song or type of music from home that they like in particular? Or are any of you musicians? It's okay if it's just a hobby too, I'd like to hear about it!
Oh hey also, Bryn; I've made a few mixes I'd like you to hear and help me adjust, if you don't mind.

But you're okay with working under his command?

Do I have a choice? No.

But if his orders happen to clash with that promise you made, wouldn't it be better to operate as a separate unit?
[That Bumblebee is actually arguing this is probably a sure fire sign that he's not all that comfortable with the arrangements anymore.]

What did he say to you, anyway?

I don't doubt he knows what he's doing; Godric wouldn't have named him second-in-command otherwise. But...hm.
How should I put it?
The meeting we had was very...political. When I stayed behind to talk with Godric, it felt very personable and friendly. But when I met with Marco it was extremely businesslike. I felt like he was hiding something.
I could be wrong, of course.

He has kept information from the other prisoners here before. Back when the girl was freed from the theatre. He was keeping important information to himself, and a select few others. [He snorts] However... his encryption codes were not that good.
I know he dislikes my being in charge. Why exactly... not sure. Almost inclined to stay put, just to torque his struts.
Prime trusted your judgment. If you think he is keeping things from us again... I trust you.

I don't think he's keeping anything important from us, but...
Ugh, it makes me sound really arrogant to say it, but I don't think he views us like Godric did. I mean, I don't want to be looked up to or worshiped or held in high esteem or anything, but Godric sought us out specifically. It was very flattering, but it was also a sign that he believed us and trusted our judgment, even if he didn't agree with some of the things we said.
I don't think Marco thinks of us the same way. Godric was adamant about having us split up amongst the groups, so that we could each contribute and sort of act the part of guidance. I mean...I don't think there's anything on this ship even as old as me. [And Bumblebee is relatively young.] I'm not sure. ( ... )

I will not work under a leader I do not respect, and who does not give me the same. Spent two years working with Lennox and his men. Ratchet did the same. This human is not willing to listen to me, or my experience. [He snorts again.] No one here has as much experience protecting individuals as you, Bumblebee, let alone Ratchet or me. They would be wise to listen, instead of dismissing us.
...
Not hasty. Think you have something there.

I'm not sure if it's just because of what we're used to, though. Our preparedness comes from thousands of years of preparation and practice, after all; we can't really expect everyone to have the same mindset. And he did say that he wanted something pre-organized instead of attempting to throw something together in the midst of chaos, but I think he meant more that he wanted something organized, but not structured.
We could just be too militant for what he actually wants.

If this operation is to be at all successful, then it needs to be taken seriously. Squads cannot function well together unless they train together. I fail to see why this is such a difficult concept for them.
How can you have organization without structure?
I do not care for what he wants. I do not respect him.
