Just One Word: Truth

Truth

I always try to speak the truth.

Dean says I’m allergic to straight answers, but sometimes the truth isn’t always straight forward. The lessons I have to teach Dean, the things he needs to learn are not always going to be as simple as he likes. The world we both inhabit and know is not simple and Dean is not always aware of the big picture.

It’s an easy thing to take things on a case by case basis. One step at a time. The problem is, I see the big picture and I can’t forget that. My father’s purpose, His words, those are part of my mission and my purpose and I can’t lose sight of those. Dean doesn’t understand that, my faith. My faith allows me to see the whole, beyond the one moment.

The truth I try to convey is that in the bigger picture everything is connected. One failure or one success can change the war. Each action is connected in the bigger picture. We can’t forget that bigger picture or else we’ll forget the point of each mission.
