I have a headache

I've been wanting to live in Japan for awhile now and finally got around to some in depth research about how to go about that. I already know about English teaching, but I have NO interest in teaching people anything (in addition I'm bad at explaining things).

So, since I don't know the language that well, I decided to go to a language school in Japan since there's nothing like that where I live and I can try and find work while there. The only thing is, you can't work with a student Visa. To even part time work you have to put in for it and be screened and approved to do so (with restrictions on how much you can work and where you can work).
I have student loans I'm paying back and that in itself is making future planning of this harder since I really have to make an income there.

I don't want to give up on living there, but I'm realizing that unless I do English teaching (I'd rather get a root canal), I'm shit out of luck. Why does that country make it so damn hard to live there and get a job. They really don't like foreigners a bit more than I thought......reality checks are hard......

.......If I could go back in time I would have gotten a degree in Japanese Language Studies. It would have been sooooo much easier to do all this if I did that.
