Revision has made my brain loopy.

1) OK, seriously, this was posted earlier today but I have just not shut up about it since. I mean, I knew eagles were badass, but I didn't know they were *this* badass. I've been talking about it all day, even more than I did about the post with the animals in utero or the one where a heron drowned a bunny and ate it.
Warning: Kinda graphic. ( Read more... )

Dude, those eagles are fierce. :O Although I really did lol at the kid whose mouse got eagle-napped.

I need to see No Country For Old Men again where I can actually see it. Chigurh vs eagle is a GO for me.

Why weren't you able to see it the first time?

Haha, it once again reminds me of not being able to hear Prince Caspian. Let's dub the sound from Caspian over No Country.

The one where the kid's mouse got yanked? TOTALLY set up.

That goat didn't even put up a fight. DDD:

Maybe, but I've heard more than one story of similar things happening with puppies. D:

What was the goat supposed to do? It's an EAGLE!

Holy crap EAGLES!

That one with the goat... *shudder*
Remind me never to go rock-climbing anywhere near eagle territory. Or even stand on something tall.
I can't tell if that eagle dragged that goat off the cliff to eat it, or just be to a dick! It's not as if animals don't kill for the sake of killing, sometimes...

I've seen that Legoland ad on a billboard near my school. It strikes me as theirIndy-themed version of that Disney AstroBlasters ride-game.

I think it swooped back down to eat it. Still, I'm just more amazed that an eagle could do something like that with an animal as big as a goat. Although I think the eagle drowning the other eagle wins in terms of shock value for me.

That was my impression too, but I still can't get over how amazed the mom looks with the map.

Wow, I had no ideas eagles were so ambitious...a goat...really!?! That's insane! Eagles mean serious business.

Yeah, I knew they were big, dangerous raptors, but I still never expected to see one throw a goat off a cliff or swipe a sloth off a branch or try to drown another one of its species.

And by "ideas" I actually meant "idea." Typos FTW. Anyway, yes, the eagle attempting to drown another of its own species...that left me seriously disturbed. I guess eagles are just as violent as humans (though perhaps for better reasons).
