Revision has made my brain loopy.
1) OK, seriously, this was posted earlier today but I have just not shut up about it since. I mean, I knew eagles were badass, but I didn't know they were *this* badass. I've been talking about it all day, even more than I did about the post with the animals in utero or the one where a heron drowned a bunny and ate it.

2) Speaking of bunnies, the babies are everywhere at work. And they always come out for me. I'm starting to suspect I really *do* have Disney princess powers. I can charm puppies and baby bunnies with them.
3) No Country for Old Men was pretty good. I admittedly haven't read much of the book, because I picked it up, noticed Cormac McCarthy had an aversion to quotation marks and most forms of punctuation and paragraphs, and put it down in favor of SPIN. But the movie was great.

4) There's this ad on the bus terminal at work for the adventure something-or-other at LegoLand. It consists of a family driving a jeep through an Indy-type attraction, and the kids and the dad are shooting at something off-image with lasers. Meanwhile, the mom is in the backseat going "Gee whillikers, guys, this map is AMAZING!!!!lol". WTF.
Also, the kids are both blonde, and the parents are both dark-haired, so my second thought after noting the crappy role to which the mom's been delegated is that the parents both carry recessive blonde genes.
