not that i am a big believer, ok not at all, of horoscopes, this s what mine read today:

today felt like it should have been a friday. it was just shitty in that way that i want the week to be over, cause weekends are so much better /sarcasm.. so um yah the week is only half over.
over last weekend at my gym there were some extremely annoying girls in the studio after class the classes were over. from my understanding of the studio, is outside of structured class times its basically a free for all to use the light free weights and mats for stretching that they use in the aerobics classes. these girls were doing neither. they were practicing a dance routine. first, their music was way too fucking loud such that i could not hear the music coming through my headphone. and they would stop the stop and go back every 30 seconds when one of them would fuck up. it was indian music.. which on a normal day i wouldnt have a problem with other than the volume. i wouldnt go as far to say that i like indian music but it has a good beat and its happy music. and who dances to indian music? yep, stereotypical indian high school girls. cue loudness and screaming and general annoying behaviour. some people just are their stereotypes. on sunday i went elsewhere to my do stretching because i could not take any of incessantly loud music being played over nd over. they were there again on monday and i went and complained about them. the guy at the reception desk said that i should have said something sooner, before i finished what i was doing in the studio because they didnt have permission to use the sound system and he would have told them to leave. thankfully i have not seen them and their annoying behaviour since monday.
tonight the studio was empty.. i was doing a bit of a leg work out and decided it would be a good idea to do lunges across the length of the floor. the last time i did that exercise i was still swimming so i was probably about 15.. and it hurt like hell to do it because i have bad knees (or i used to). i had a little practice to make sure my form wasnt total shit and then went to pick up a bar. the lightest bar is 10 lbs. yep, that was the one i was gonna go with. i was doing ok on the first length, coming back was ok too.. then halfway through the 3rd length a muscle in my inner thigh felt like it was about to tear and that was the end of the that. probably wont be trying it again for a few weeks. i hate lifting weights but feel that i should be doing something because cardio really doesnt much muscle toning. i try to incorporate a couple of things inbetween cardio sets so that i mentally feel like im making an effort.
