Still alive, not liking it, but still here

Got my iPad. It's ok. Like an iPod on steroids. Hubby's computer died just after I sent mine away. Thankfully it's new, so it'll be sent back to Sony to be fixed.

We learned a few weeks ago that hubby will be getting 25% of his grandmother's life insurance fund. It's quite a chunk of money. A big chunk. So now we're planning on getting a new car and taking the demons to Disneyworld sometime. But, sadly, the first thing I thought about was that I wanted him to take all the money and move out.

Also found out my best friend is getting a divorce. Shocked the hell out of me, but what do I know of divorcing? I can't get up the courage to do it myself.

Ive been also going to appointments and information seminars regarding bariactric bypass surgery. Something needs to be done. And sadly it'll have to be extreme. I have only told three people so far that I'm going to try and do it. We'll see what happens. It won't take place for at least another six months though.

So right now I'm just stressing out about having money. It's so weird.

Demon #2 passed his swimming lessons and now I feel confident enough to let him swim on his own. He's a natural. #1 is taking lessons now, he'll be a bit more difficult to pass I think. But I know that he can swim. This class is about learning how to do the strokes properly, etc.

Hubby was gone this weekend. He went down to Iowa with his mom to visit his aunt and uncle and to go to the Iowa State Fair. The demons and I went to the Irish Fair of Minnesota ans saw Gaelic Storm. They had a blast! My mom bought them both wooden swords and shields. Oy. Yesterday I took them to a community center so they could swim. It's too cold outside to go to our normal pool (which is an outdoor pool). The indoor one costs a bit but at least there are more things to do there than at our pool. Going to see if I can convince the hubby to buy a membership to the YMCA since our doesn't have a community center. At least then they can take classes and swim and have swimming lessons thru the winter.
