Floods, elections, and more.
Wohoo, Isabel Piedmont just got elected to City Council! I spent a few hours of my little free time calling voters to talk to them about her ideas and to remind them to vote; glad it wasn't for naught. She's one of the most progressive and organized city council members, can't wait to see her in action now.
I've been holed up in my apartment this week working like crazy and dealing with a flood that happened recently. How does one forget to turn off the tub? Apparently my upstairs neigbor did so now my carpets stink, and a loud industrial fan is making my home an unpleasant place to be. After it's done drying they have to get cleaned and dried yet again. Boooo....
So tired and I have another 13 hour day tommorrow.
I miss my friends and sad I'm not attending poetry church tonight.
