HISTORY: Naminé was ‘born’ at fourteen years of age when Kairi’s heart left her body. Naminé awoke in Castle Oblivion with no memory of her past life. After a fight and Larxene’s defeat, Naminé explained that she could restore all of Sora’s memories if they went to the thirteenth floor of the castle. Sora tells her to stay behind and watch out for the incapacitated Replica Riku, which she did. However, when Sora moved on to go to the next floor, Marluxia portalled to where Naminé was and captured her to later use her as a hostage against Axel, who claimed to be willing to attack anyway, but was stopped by the arrival of Sora. After Sora defeated Axel, Marluxia ordered Naminé to smash Sora’s heart so it could be rebuilt later in a way that more suited the Organization’s needs. She refused to do so. The replica Riku, still able to function despite the damage to his heart, attacked Marluxia and gave Naminé the opportunity to get away from him

PERSONALITY:Naminé is considerably quieter and more introverted than most of the other people in her, well, universe. She’s got a tendency to be rather retiring, and is awkward around people; her only real experience with other people has been with Organization XIII, who held her captive from almost the very first instant of her short semi-existence. Given the fact that they’re heartless, it’s reasonable to assume that it was not the best thing for her development. She lacks the experience of her Other; she was ‘born’ without any memories of her previous life. So what with the Organization, DiZ, and even with Sora’s brief influence on her, she’s grown to be rather shy. She’s not very confident, although when she’s in control of the situation, she becomes much more talkative; when she’s the one that knows what’s going on, when she’s the one explaining, when she’s ‘working’, she’s able to be more forward, because she has to be

Naminé can sometimes come across as being a little naieve, but that’s only because of her lack of experience. She has a tendency to put things too bluntly, and the finer points of socialization are often lost on her. However, due to her shy, passive nature, she’s quick to attempt to make amends for her incompetency, and after her conversation with Roxas in the digital Twilight Town, has begun to attempt to watch her words more closely in order to avoid conflict. She just takes a little longer to get things that most people would think of as commonplace. She’s no stranger to the darker side of people (being a captive can do that to you), but she likes to think that most people aren’t that bad. She hasn’t actually met enough of them to know whether or not it’s true

Soft.
Whatever she was laying on, it was very soft. That was the first thing Naminé noticed when she first began to wake up. It was soft. Was she still in bed? But-wasn’t she just…? Had she been dreaming that? It wouldn’t be the first time. Finally becoming whole, finally going back to her Other… it had haunted her subconscious for a long time now. It so often came out in her sleep, sometimes as a bright, pleasant dream, and other times as a cloying, vicious nightmare that left her sitting bolt upright in a cold sweat in the middle of the night.
But this one had been so vivid - not that the others hadn’t been. She’d thought it was real. Wasn’t it? Because she remembered getting there, she remembered getting Kairi out of that cell and Saix and Riku and Sora and Roxas and -
And there was no way she was dreaming. So, then, was this Kairi’s heart? She hadn’t expected it to be so… soft. And squishy. And… grainy

Naminé looked around, quickly at first, then more slowly. She was in… a forest? The only forest she knew of was the one in Twilight Town, but it hadn’t been this…
She took one slow, long look around, her artist’s eyes lingering on the dark, rich browns, the bright, lush green, the gentle light filtering through the trees.
…beautiful.
So this wasn’t Twilight Town. Spotting her clothes settled on the ground nearby, her sandals on top of them along with an odd little book that she didn’t recognize, she looked down at herself sharply, only to realize that she was dressed in a white sundress, not dissimilar to her own usual outfit. She stood and went to retrieve them, but not before brushing automatically at her back. She stopped mid-step as her hand touched something that was definitely not there before. Her brow scrunched, her expression bewildered. Awkwardly, she attempted to reach it underhandedly, but could only make out that it was very soft, and… attached to her back? Which, coincidentally, was abnormally itchy
