(no subject)
Well, I'm now officially hooked on another show--Battlestar Galactica. The first season finally premiered in the US this past Friday, but I think it's been airing for a while now in either Canada or the UK, or maybe both. I loved the mini-series back when it first aired, so I knew I'd like it as a weekly show. This is one of those shows that I know I'm going to want to vid eventually (yes, I'm obsessed), so I'm making sure to record all the episodes the first time around. That way, no trying to download later. Speaking of vids, there's already a vid community for the show:

Starbuck rocks. Great song for her.
And I loved the scene this past week of Starbuck & Gauis (sp?) playing cards. They have some great chemistry. For some reason I love tough, hardcore women & slightly unstable guys. Go figure. I blame Farscape. Expect Gauis isn't really anything at all like Crichton, so nevermind. Although they both have bad guys in their head that only they can see. So there's that. But Gauis is much more morally ambiguous--sure he's arrogant & self-serving, but he's not evil. He didn't mean for any of that to happen. I have a feeling he'll become my favorite character. I love grey areas. Also, the President (I forget her name) reminds me a lot of Elizabeth Weir on Stargate Atlantis.
