What a way to start the year!!
I had an awesome week-long vacation to sunny California!! Everyone I met was tremendously nice. To top it all off, I got to spend some good, quality time with my best friend; something we haven't really had much time for in the past few years. I am seriously considering moving out there if I can get a job. Thanks to everyone for showing me such a good time.
UCO started back to school yesterday. So, I've been going full speed from the minute I got back. It's so different to teach where you actually went to school. Even my former profs agree. It's a pleasant change of scenery though. One of my students in my first class was soooo flirting with me. It made me smile and giggle a little when I finally realized how hard she was trying to impress me. Heidi is in my second class which is a bit weird. We both laughed a bit more than other students at some jokes; of course, we have added inside humor going on. She was very impressed at my confidence in front of the class (perhaps even attracted to the other side of me). She claims that another student was flirting with me, but I failed to notice quite possibly due to my sleep deprivation. Looks to be the start of a very good semester. Must get my a$$ in gear with research so I can get a real job though.
