Oscar the grouch
I am doing the next best thing to watching the oscars... pulling off the hair of my eyelids. If ever there were a show devoted to the downfall of America it would be that one. Two faced actors and actresses claim to be on the forefront of helping the poor of the world, yet still walk the redcarpet in dress that smacks of economic inequality. Great clothes made by great people for great people bought and sold at a great price. The participants receive thank you gifts in terms of diamond jewelry. The utter stratification of the entertainment industry is unnerving. The political cartoons show it best. The select few in the entertainment industry have as much swing as big business. Think of the immense lobbying power that a small portion of a small section of L.A. has. It has already been apparent that Hollywood is looking for ways to pick their political candidate for the presidency in '08. Almost two years away!!! Anyway American is going nowhere fast and box office sales are taking us there.
