After Iceland, we went to London!

(Glastonbury Abbey)

According to one version of the legend, this is where Arthur and Guinevere are buried.



(Chalice Well gardens)

This is right next to the Abbey and, according to another legend, this is both where Joseph planted the thistle tree and where he put the Holy Grail into a well. Because of that, the waters are said to have healing powers. There is a place further up where people could gather and/or drink the water.



(Avebury Circle)

This is a stone monument that predates Stonehenge. It is also a place where sheep are grazed. Watch your step!




I was successful in getting my pictures off my second camera card - which my laptop did not like - so that is a plus. The next post to go up will be York!
