I got a very sad E-Mail from Thunder's website this morning. After nearly 20 years, they've decided to call it a day, for the second time. Apparently pressures of life outside the band means they can't keep it going.
On the plus side, they are doing a Terrorvision style final tour. This will take in Shepherd's Bush Empire on Saturday 11th July. I'm not sure if it's going to be a standard tour for the new album, or a greatest hits farewell style tour, but I suspect the latter.
Tickets are on sale on Friday and are £25, plus an unknown booking fee. Who's in?
Given that I'm (STILL!) out of work at the moment, I'll most likely also need a volunteer to actually book the tickets, but if we can get an idea of numbers, that's a good start.
