When they first met he was proud and kind of a brat, listening to her orders but not really caring to have a trainer. As he grew into the name, however, Odin came to care for Lightning and defended her against a wild Gastly after it knocked her down. When that was over, it was rare to see Lightning outside without Odin at her side, and that hasn't changed much even though he's older and grown now. Now that he's bigger and able to be ridden, he takes pride in helping his trainer get around quickly

The first Gastly Lightning ever encountered left her flat on the ground and in need of rescue, so her experiences with the species left her wary of them. Encountering another one had Lightning jumpy as all hell, but she still caught it. Since then, Fang has been the prankster on her team and often turned on the Pokégear without Lightning noticing to capture moments Light would rather remain private. But she's slowly being trained out of that, and Light has since gotten over her minor fear of Ghost types.

He's practically fearless unless startled, and is pretty much the clown of Lightning's team. He seems almost like a cat, yanking on any braids or ponytails that get into his range of vision, and he's always cheerful no matter the situation. He has a lot of growing up to do, but Lightning really wouldn't have him any other way.
