a list!
1. I have a giant Spanish test tomorrow on a novel (in Spanish). Eep! This class is hard for me and I get easily discouraged, but I studied a lot, so we'll see what happens.
2. Today during class the funniest thing happened that I just remembered. My class was sitting in the park because it was so nice out and a man walked by and one of the girls in my class thought it was Hugh Grant (I'll admit, it looked a lot like him) and started freaking out and our prof had to stop the class but it was okay because he (our prof, not Hugh Grant) is really cool and everybody in the class gets along.
3. A lot of people that I know had pretty rough days today (and one I don't really know that well--just whose livejournal I read). And I want to tell them that I'm sorry and don't worry, things will pick up. I love you guys and I'm here for you. :)
4. I have to write a short story for Weds. and I have the makings of an idea but I'm not sure if I can follow through with it entirely and do the idea justice. This is a problem I've been finding that I have a lot--I come up with ideas that essentially force me to create entirely new worlds and I'm not supposed to write stories that are longer than 10 pages so a lot of times my stories lack really good endings because I always have to rush to squeeze it all in. It's hard not to have the room to really stretch your legs and just write. The format of my Creative Writing class doesn't allow it and plus I only have two days. I'm getting excited for the summer. I'm going to finally write the play that I've been talking about writing because I have an idea that I REALLY like. Woohoo!
5. Tomorrow=lottery. I'm nervous!!! I hope the plan (me and Jo and Lisa and Amy all in singles in the same suite) works out. Afterwards it's the Jeff Smith signing!
6. Jo has been sick the past two days and Jo, you sickie, I hope you get well soon! Eat your chicken soup young lady.
