Ugh. A/C issues are the WORST to deal with in a rental! I've totally been there.

Can the rental co. provide a portable A/C so you can sleep in your bedroom or something at least?

I ended up withholding rent from mine until they fixed the issue because they kept sending out idiots that didn't know what they were doing to fix it and nothing ever got done for about 10 days.

I can't imagine surviving down there without A/C, I died up here when ours A/C died in June a couple years back. Good luck.
