It's not often I come across a fic that I simply cannot read because of how dark it is.

It's not even the whumping. It's just... it's like reading Grapes of Wrath and knowing things are just going to get worse. That even if the main character gets out, gets healed, the enemy stopped and the timeline preserved, things are still going to suck. ( ( Read more... )
