When did the livejournal interface get all obnoxious?

I usually just go straight to my friends page, so I hadn't really noticed, but holy cow. There is stuff everywhere, and most of it has nothing to do with blogging. Take it easy, guys.

I'm not even getting into a heuristic analysis of this site. That would be ridiculous.
