New cat
We have a new cat, of an entirely different personality than I have previously been exposed to. She is small and cuddly, and gets quite excited to see people, which we haven't seen before. She also responds to the television, something none of our previous pets have ever reacted to in any way, shape or form. Not quite sure why - it flashes light and makes noise, so you would think that it would at least warrant a curious glance (hell, if someone unexpectedly turns on the TV in a room I'll turn to look at it).
Also I am still alive, and still at home (which is fun; Pat had a reasonably epic tantrum yesterday while Wayne was visiting - although Wayne was very helpful about trying to make me/Mom less stressed out). I need to get out of here. Know any cool places-of-employment in Seattle? Hopefully interviewing at Microsoft, but I definitely need more options than just that (although the PM stuff they have is basically exactly what I want to be doing right now...).
