I can't explain how much I liked each and every one of your stories. I love the way you described every character, the way you took each of them on a journey that changed them, making them grew into a better team, into a better group of friends and ultimately into better persons (people? sorry, not sure which is the proper one in this case: I'm italian!)
I appreciate the way you slowly developed Gwen into a somewhat better version of herself (I too share your views on her character and don't particularly like her and the selfishness she showed through out the first two series) and how you showed that Owen was hiding behind a mask pretty much the way Ianto was at the beginning, a different mask but with the same purpose: hide himself from the others and keep them away from him.
I love the deep friendship between Tosh and Ianto and how their bond (and Ianto's love for her) allowed her to become more self-confident. Don't know if you'd agree with me, but the way I see it, their friendship is basically the healthy and platonic version of what she had with Mary. Minus the necklace-induced telepathy.
Jack... What can I say about your Jack? Other than asking you where I can get my own personal Jack? ;p Well, I like the fact that your Jack "grew up" enough to actually realize what was in front of him (I'm so going to ask for my list to my next bf!), finally starting to deal with his "I'll have to watch you die and still go on living" issues. I appreciate the truthfulness of how much he struggled to open himself to Ianto, little by little. In some stories he just opens up and spills the beans in ten minutes flat. I hate it. You portrayed him just as reserved and closed off as Ianto is (if not more), using his friendliness to trick people into thinking that's all he is and preventing them to dig deeper. I sincerely commend you for that and for the choice you made about Jack not being willing to subject Ianto to the immortality-curse even if that to him would mean the ultimate cure to his lonely existence.
And Ianto... God, I love your Ianto! You've developed him into exactly what I would have loved to see him become once he overcomes his insecurities and people starts noticing he's not just a cute bloke who looks hot in a suit and picks up after the others and makes good coffee. Sorry, great coffee.
In short, thank you for coming up with, writing and sharing this amazing verse and I hope there's more in store!
Eleonora
