Alan Rickman, one of the best-loved and most warmly admired British actors of the past 30 years, has died in London aged 69. His death was confirmed on Thursday by his family. Rickman had been suffering from cancer.
69 seems to be when everything bad happens. We just lost David Bowie at the same age. I wonder if he comes back with someone else ( Read more... )Gone...

Leonard Nimoy passed on this morning in California from pulmonary issues. There shall be no more continuing, except in the guise of Zachary Quinto. It was good that the two could commune with each other in the two recent films to maintain transtemporal continuity but we all knew that Leoard was irreplaceable as Mr. Spock.
