so i'm sitting here, buying presents for other people online, and a car goes by with the music turned up so loud it vibrates things in my front room. unfortunately, this happens at least once a day, and at least once a week the offending car parks on my street but doesn't shut the music off. it's infuriating.
anyhow. so this car is playing rap music, as per usual, and while i don't have anything against rap, this particular song was A RAP VERSION OF "RIGHT HERE WAITING". Yes, the song by Richard Marx. Yes, possibly the wussiest song ever, although it is a close call between that song and "Missing You" by John Waite.
It was totally hilarious. I think rap has begun to eat itself.
And! I get to see the Pirates play the SF Giants at AT&T Park tomorrow night since DT and I went to a Giants game a few weeks ago. We got both sets of tickets for free from his work, so I'm looking forward to it. Except, both teams suck, so it's not really a question of which team will win, but which team will lose the least.
Just for the hell of it, a wuss-off:

PS It's around 90 degrees right now and I'm on the top floor of a house with no air conditioning and a low roof. I AM SWEATING IN PLACES SO OBSCENE THERE AREN'T EVEN WORDS FOR THEM YET.
