I'm So Stressed... The light at the End of the Tunnel..
I met with the chair of my committee yesterday. According to his recommendations it appears that I will have at least 2 years until the whole process is completed.
Blah... Independent Study/Language Requirement in Spring... defend Field Paper immediately after that... whip out a prospectus over the summer of '09... write like mad for the next year... finish in fall 2010. All this while I manage to gain a bit more experience as an adjunct at the community college. Oh yea, get married in January, and try to keep my daughter alive in the meantime. I just hope I get a degree out of all this, a degree in Philosophy, which is worth about as much as the paper its printed on. I feel blah all over.
Ava is really walking and talking these days. At least I'm partially responsible for creating a human being that turned out beautiful... which makes the drudgery all worthwhile.
