I wonder what it's going to be like when the USA national government falls.
What will it be like preceding, during and after.
Like Rome, we have uncontrolled affluence and spending, warring all over that spreads the power out thinly, corruption, mismanagement.
When Rome fell, other nationalities came in and took over untill the locals got a handle on it.
I don't see a foreign invasion when the US falls.
We already have alternate systems in place. Little micro governments are already here.

And, like the airport, it's already a little self contained city with it's own police and fire department.
